physical key signing meetups in randomized groups within the same local community. All meetups happen as a global ceremony every 41 days at the same local time so that no one can attend more than one meetup

Social mining

A UBI of 1 UNIT is issued in local cryptocurrency for every attended ceremony (providing proof-of-location + proof-of-personhood). Local means village up to metropolitan area

Token economics

local currencies feature demurrage to maintain a money supply bound to the size of the population. The valuation comes - as for any money - from the belief in its value.

Governance

NPoS (Polkadot relay chain) / Encointer Association will build a consortium for parachain governance / democracy (one person one vote) for everything concerning local currency parameters (meetup locations, demurrage rate ...) every community decides for themselves
